Interactive Presentation – Using puppets, props, and dress-up to introduce insect anatomy, life cycles, and camouflage.

Discover the life cycle of Spiny Leaf Insects
Learn about camouflage and adaptation
Observe real insects up close
Engage in imaginative play and storytelling
Each session includes age-appropriate activities and plenty of photo opportunities!

Butterfly Adventures’ Early Childhood Incursions are created by qualified educators and entomologists with over 20 years of experience. Our play-based, interactive programs align with the Early Years Learning Framework and are designed to spark curiosity about nature and minibeasts!
Children will engage in a hands-on journey of discovery, learning about insect life cycles, camouflage and adaptations, and the amazing features of Spiny Leaf Insects — all through imaginative play, storytelling, and close encounters.
