🧠 What They’ll Learn

Our programs are developed by qualified educators and entomologists to align with the Early Years Learning Framework. Children will:

  • Explore insect morphology (body parts)

  • Discover the life cycle of Spiny Leaf Insects

  • Discover the unique relationship between Spinies and Ants!
  • Learn about camouflage and adaptation

  • Observe real insects up close

  • Engage in imaginative play and storytelling

Each session includes age-appropriate activities and plenty of photo opportunities!

  • Cost:

1-hour presentation 25 children

  • 1 session – $445 +GST
  • 2 plus sessions (consecutive) – $295 +GST each

If over 20kms a small travel charge will apply to cover fuel costs.

 

Butterfly Adventures’ Early Childhood Incursions are created by qualified educators and entomologists with over 20 years of experience. Our play-based, interactive programs align with the Early Years Learning Framework and are designed to spark curiosity about nature and minibeasts!

Children will engage in a hands-on journey of discovery, learning about insect life cycles, camouflage and adaptations, and the amazing features of Spiny Leaf Insects — all through imaginative play, storytelling, and close encounters.
